Samy Ramadane, Analyst

Samy Ramadane is an analyst at Atlas Venture, where he evaluates and develops novel therapies to address areas of unmet patient need.

Prior to joining Atlas, Samy was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, focusing on providing insights to biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients across strategic matters, including portfolio strategy, asset diligence, innovation, commercialization, launch readiness, and organizational build.

Samy received his B.S.E. in biomedical engineering with highest honors from the Johns Hopkins University. His concentrations included cell and tissue engineering and instrumentation, and his research focused on developing novel epigenetic sequencing techniques. Samy was inducted into the Tau Beta Pi, Alpha Eta Mu Beta, Chi Alpha Sigma, and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies and Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity. He was named to the JHU All-Decade Men’s Soccer team, awarded the Centennial Conference Player of the Year, and designated Academic All-American.

After graduating from JHU, he played soccer semi-professionally in Germany. When not on the soccer field, Samy spends his free time learning languages, traveling, discovering new music, skiing, and fishing.
