Alex Harding, MD, MBA is a biotechnology executive who most recently served as Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development at CRISPR Therapeutics, a leading gene editing company. He previously helped to build Remix Therapeutics, a company utilizing small molecules to modulate mRNA processing, and served the company as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy. Before Remix, he was a Senior Associate at Atlas Venture, where he helped to start new biotech companies, including Triplet Therapeutics, Vedere Bio, Third Harmonic Bio, and Remix Therapeutics. Alex received an MD with honors from Johns Hopkins and completed his residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Yale University. He also continues to practice medicine at a community health center in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
