Chris is an EIR and COO/CFO of a Stealth NewCo. He has over 20 years of combined experience in strategic finance, business development and venture capital. Prior to Atlas, Chris launched Tectonic Therapeutic (NASDAQ: TECX) as interim CEO and then served as the company’s COO/CFO through its merger with AVROBIO. He was previously Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Finance at Agenus (NASDAQ: AGEN) and held earlier roles in business development, venture capital, and strategy consulting at Synta, ATV and Booz Allen respectively. Chris has led and participated in 48 transactions representing over $1 billion in total deal value, including M&A, financings, in/out-licensing, spinouts, and special situations with over $600 million in aggregate, realized or committed cash inflows. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University, where he was also a post-doctoral fellow in Molecular Biophysics, and is the inventor of computational methods that have been distributed in commercial applications. Chris also served as an independent director on the Board of OpenEye Scientific Software through its acquisition by Cadence Systems.
