Elena is Chief Financial Officer & Head of Corporate Development of Sionna, where she led Sionna’s $111M Series B financing. Previously, she served as CFO for Acadia Pharmaceuticals where she played a critical role in the organization’s commercial, business development and pipeline growth including successfully raising $600 million in capital. Prior to Acadia, Elena was VP, Investor Relations at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, CEO of BIOVISIO consulting, and spent over a decade as an institutional investor in the biopharmaceutical industry, including as a Managing Director at Maverick Capital. She is also a board member of Kronos Bio, Inc. and Kymera Therapeutics, Inc. Elena holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and is also a CFA© charterholder.
