Sean is CSO at a Stealth NewCo. Previously, he served as VP of In Vivo Therapies at Intellia Therapeutics, where he spearheaded the identification of novel in vivo CRISPR applications. His responsibilities also encompassed Platform Innovation, leading a team focused on the creation of nonviral extrahepatic delivery systems and advanced gene editing tools aimed at curing life-threatening diseases. In addition, Sean is a practicing endocrinologist affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Nantucket Cottage Hospital. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and an MD with honors from NYU School of Medicine. He completed his clinical training in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at MGH.
