Tim is an EIR at Atlas after having served as Chief Development Officer at a portfolio company, HotSpot Therapeutics, for almost 4 years. There, he built and led the nonclinical and clinical development organization as part of the company’s maturation into a clinical stage entity in oncology and autoimmune disease and he continues to contribute as a senior advisor. Prior to HotSpot, Tim spent over 18 years at Bristol Myers Squibb Company, most recently as Senior Vice President in Research & Early Development, where he was fortunate to have contributed to >120 INDs and >10 approved drugs across multiple therapeutic areas over the course of his tenor. Separately, Tim was an independent board director at Hookipa Pharma, industry representative to Cancer Research UK’s Experimental Cancer Medicines Centre and a member of the Translation Research Council for CureSMA, and he is co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of the non-profit, Spinal Muscular Atrophy Research Team. He is also an alumnus of the University of Notre Dame (BS) and Wayne State University (PhD) and was a research fellow at the National Institutes of Health.
