Constantine Chinoporos is executive chairman of Rectify Pharmaceuticals, and a senior biopharma executive with deep expertise in business development, corporate strategy, and company building. He has led major strategic transactions across both large pharmaceutical companies and emerging biotech organizations, partnering closely with executive teams and boards to drive growth and shareholder value.
Constantine was previously Chief Business Officer at Albireo Pharmaceuticals, where he helped lead the company’s acquisition by Ipsen in 2023 and advanced multiple strategic licensing transactions. Previously he served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Business Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at Applied Therapeutics, where he led the company’s acquisition by Cycle Pharmaceuticals and the out-licensing of AT-001. Earlier, he was a member of the executive leadership team at Boston Pharmaceuticals, where he built the company’s pipeline through more than 20 licensing transactions. Prior to that, Constantine held senior business development leadership roles at Sanofi and Genzyme, leading global licensing, strategic partnerships, and portfolio expansion initiatives.
Constantine serves on the board of Geron Corporation and is a member of the Strategic Advisory Group at Apollo Therapeutics. He previously served on the board of Elektrofi through its acquisition by Halozyme. He earned an MBA and a BA from Cornell University.
